Run Your First Mile Training Plan
Are you ready to do something truly amazing? Training to run your first mile nonstop is empowering and can be life-changing.
HOW IT WORKS
When you sign up and complete the liability waiver, you will become a participant in our Run Your First Mile Training Program.
The 12-week program includes:
- 8-weeks of running workout plan emails
- 12-weeks of motivation mindset emails to keep you focused
We want to ensure that you cross that finish line of running one mile nonstop. We recognize that everyone's journey is unique. Our program allows you to do the workouts and enjoy the experience at a pace comfortable for you.
You will be invited to join our private Facebook group where mentors will be ready to answer questions and provide the support you need. In this group, you will be able to meet other program participants who are on this same journey.
ABOUT OUR HEAD COACH
Road Runners Club of America certified Distance Running Coach American Red Cross certified in CPR, AED and First Aid
Prior to finding running, he was a 275-pound couch potato who couldn’t bend over and tie his own shoe (let alone climb a flight of stairs) without getting out of breath. Desperately wanting to improve his health and lose about 100 pounds, he started running. Rik’s been an avid runner since 2009 – running many 5Ks, 10Ks, half and full marathons, as well as long-distance relay races. And that 100 extra pounds? History!

Our mentors have been there and have all faced the physical and mental challenges of starting to run. They are active members of the From Fat to Finish Line running community and are available for support.
